Amber lamps - New york
Formed as a one-off, high-school graduation party cover band, New york's Amber Lamps gradually evolved into a trio of DIY punk rock-loving musicians delivering raw energy rock with catchy hooks, aggressive guitars and killer bass.
Originating from the long island town of Bethpage, BRIAN GREENE (GUITAR, VOCALS) And Jenna Noe (DRUMS, VOCALS) are now based in New York.
The debut album, Plaidypuss, features songs that also cover a wide range of topics from growing up and anxiety to love and loss.
On the Lamb, released September 14, 2018, was recorded at Cherry Pit Studios in Menomonee Falls, WI, in April, 2018. It continues the threads from their debut, and expands to a wider variety of genres and lyrical content.
Every song reflects a personal story, and highlights the unique, humorous story-telling and songwriting of guitarist/lead singer, Brian Greene.
Never taking themselves too seriously, the band infuse a hard- rock verve with a lighthearted flair during live performances around the new york city region.
Some of the trio's biggest influences include Blink 182, Green Day, Foo Fighters, and Weezer.
